At DSBR, we understand that bearing performance starts at the source — with rigorous control from raw material to final machining. Our production process is designed to deliver high-precision, long-life bearings for demanding industrial applications around the world.

Our production begins with premium bearing-grade steel bars, carefully selected for their purity and mechanical properties. These steel rods are heated to over 1000°C in a controlled environment and then subjected to precision forging.
Using high-tonnage press machines, the red-hot steel is forged into ring-shaped billets — the initial forms of the inner and outer bearing rings. The process includes piercing (punching) to form the center hole and die shaping to achieve a near-final profile, setting the foundation for dimensional consistency and material integrity.
Once forged, the bearing ring blanks undergo annealing to reduce internal stress and soften the material for further machining. Then they enter the crucial phase of heat treatment, which includes:
Quenching: Rapid cooling after heating to transform the microstructure and significantly increase hardness.
Tempering: Reheating at a controlled temperature to relieve stress and enhance toughness.
After this step, the bearing rings achieve a hardness of around HRC 64–65, ensuring exceptional wear resistance, load capacity, and dimensional stability for long-term use.
DSBR auto bearings factory enforces strict quality inspections at every stage. Even though our own process starts from precision turning (CNC machining), we meticulously inspect incoming ring blanks for any defects from the forging or heat treatment stages.
Common issues we detect and reject include:
Mesh carbides: Caused by improper forging, resulting in brittle zones that affect fatigue life.
Burn marks (burns): Resulting from surface oxidation or overheating, which lead to decarburization, loss of surface hardness, and potential failure under load.
Any ring exhibiting such problems must be 100% reprocessed or scrapped. We believe that quality can never be compromised.

Once the material is verified to meet our standards, we proceed to CNC turning, grinding, and superfinishing. Our DSBR precision machining line is equipped to deliver:
Tight tolerance turning
Raceway and groove grinding
Flat and parallel end face processing
Ultra-low surface roughness superfinishing
All of this ensures the final bearing assembly meets the highest global standards — suitable for use in mining equipment, automotive systems, electric motors, and industrial machinery.
